Subaru Crosstrek

It seems that for this Japanese designer, one of the most important goals is, that in pretty equal intervals (and with some minor changes), launches its slightly updated vehicles. In comparison to its main competitors, Subaru was visiting redesign the Crosstrek once again, regardless of having actually improved its efficiency and also general appearance last year. Well, in order to be (and stay) quite honestly, it hasn’t been officially confirmed from the Japanese car maker, yet, our presumptions are, primarily, based on the rumors. We suppose that this slightly refreshed variant will share its general abilities and performances with the current available XV Crosstrek, with some minor, mainly cosmetically-oriented refreshments and upgrades, here and there.

Interior, Exterior & Appearance

When being compared to the current available the Impreza hatchback model, newly designed Subaru Crosstrek will be about 10 centimeters higher, a big longer and much more extensive. In the terms of the interior design, it should retain its phenomenal convenience combined with high amount of comfortness. However, the Subaru Crosstrek will present, essentially, an improved version of Subaru’s Impreza hatchback. Underneath its SUV-themed outside, the Crosstrek is intended to maintain the Impreza’s well-tuned chassis, utterly been durable and reliable engine options and eye-catching and trendy equipped main cabin.

Speaking of the main cabin, it should remain quite roomy, in order to be able to accommodate up to five grownups of the average height to sit quite comfortable with having, at the same time, more than enough room for all of their body parts. There, also, will be made some substantial modifications, such as: a huge LCD display will be placed, MP3 player, natural leather upholstered seats, integrated net, Bluetooth connection, slightly improved infotainment air conditioner, safety air bags for every single seat and automatic heating and cooling heating unit as well as a steering wheel mounted with control features.

Subaru Crosstrek Engine

Under the hood  will be placed the same engine range as its previous variant. So, under the hood of a standard one will be placed a 2.0-liter horizontally opposed “boxer” four-cylinder engine that will be able to deliver 148 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque linked to five-speed manual transmission as a standard on 2.0i and 2.0i Premium trim levels and adjusted to an all-wheel-drive system with a 50/50 front/rear power distribution.

This slightly upgraded variant should hit the Global car markets in the very first quarter of the following year, and its starting price expected to be around $26,500 for the entry version and to climb up to approximately $30,000 for the slightly higher trim versions.
